Week 4 Assignment 1

Week 4 Assignment 1

Q Stakeholder Analysis and Engagement Requirements Overview Once you have identified project stakeholders, you need to learn more about them in an effort to manage their expectations. A deep understanding of their wants, needs, responsibilities, interests, and engagement preferences is critical to creating a stakeholder communications requirements document and crafting a subsequent stakeholder communications management plan. Directions Review the CapraTek: Stakeholder Analysis activity for information required to complete this assignment. Analyze the information you gathered in the CapraTek activity to interpret and document the communication and engagement needs for each stakeholder. Create a stakeholder engagement requirements document that includes the following for each stakeholder: • Responsibility. • Authority. • Interests in the project. • Information required. • Information format. • Desired frequency of communication. • Engagement expectations including the preferred type (that is, e-mail, video conference, phone call, text, et cetera). • A list one or two questions that you would like to ask to each stakeholder (questions should be tailored to each stakeholder), if given the opportunity, to gain more information or insight into their needs. Note: This document will inform your stakeholder communications management plan in a later assignment.
